Expansion and Modernization (1970s-1980s)
In the 1970s and 1980s, the refinery underwent significant expansions to increase its processing capacity, helping it meet growing domestic and regional demand for petroleum products.
Modernization for Euro-5 Compliance (2010s-Present)
In the 2010s, the refinery began a major modernization program to upgrade its facilities, aiming to produce cleaner, higher-quality products (such as Euro-5 standard gasoline and diesel) and reduce environmental impacts. This ongoing upgrade continues to improve both efficiency and environmental performance.
